Ick... Sore throat. Bad. Very very bad... Do not want! Colds definitely aren't good either but those are at least "treatable" for the most part. I hope you start getting sleep soon though cosy! You need your sleep to stay healthy!

(got 3 yesterday)...just cant sleep with his snoring (sounds like a whole army of tanks moving thru!!) and I am a very light sleeper.

got a wee bit more sleep, and had to sleep on the couch last night to get another 2 hours...and yeah, my back, neck, etc are all pretty dang out of sorts today...then got woken up by my neighbors smoking early in the am

(really wish I could move our air intact OUTside so I dont just get the bad air from everyone else!)

think I will get some more sleep on the couch...(and then call my chiro tomorrow to see if I can get an adjustment

Ick, couch just isn't as comfy as a bed. Though sometimes it can be pretty dang comfy... Neighbors smoke? Hate smokers... Just gross.

Don't they suggest sewing a thread spool into the back of the pyjamas of a snorer so they don't sleep on their backs?

I think it's your hubby's turn for the couch anyway.

hubby wont sleep on the couch as his snoring doesnt bother him (and seeing as he is the bread winner, I just try sleep at different times, but since he has been working at home this week because of that bad cold I havent been able to sleep at my 'normal' times), and yeah, he snores WORSE on his side than back! and if I sleep on my side I wake with both hands numb (scoliosis).

I sleep on my side as far as I know. Side and stomach I can do. Back I have never quite got the hang of. Can never fall asleep when I'm on my back. But that is okay.

Friday was a nice day. Yesterday was cold and then the ice came. Lots of ice last night. Supposed to stay cold for the next few days.

yeah was pretty nice, got the lights down and packed away (decided to try and get it done before the next snow/rain) and it was cool, but not too cold. Tree is down, not packed away yet (it stirs up my allergies realllllllly bad--so I have to do it a bit at a time), otherwise only the wreath is left--and still no idea what to do with it--its real, but has a wire frame so not completely recycle-able

....ah well, it has to come down today so we can stop it from shedding all over the common area.

body finally said 'sleep' so I spent most of sunday sleeping (hubby watched anime on his computer)....feel a bit better, but need about 3 more days of just doing it to 'catch up'.

ah, its monday again

Well I'm glad you got some stuff packed up. That is a plus. And I'm glad you got some sleep finally.

I spent about an hour yesterday de-icing both my car and my fiancee's car... Then I salted the sidewalk and stairs leading from her apartment to the parking lot because apparently her maintenance people don't do it. >.>

we have no maintenance people, we have to do most of it ourselves...they leave a bucket of salt between the security door and the outside door and tell us 'put it down' and for this we pay a huge monthly assesment

...and if there is snow they want us to move our cars OFF the driveways so they can plow--weellll if there is too much snow how in the blinkity-blink am I supposed to get my car out of my driveway??? AND then they tell us they wont clear our driveways if there are cars parked in them--well, where the &@$# am I supposed to put my 2nd car --on top of my first in my ONE car garage??? oh, on the street--if there is more than 2" of snow we arent allowed to park on the street...in the overflow?? same thing there--they wont plow it if there are cars there...so exactly what the &#@$ are we supposed to do with our cars???

well, yeah, we basically wind up clearing our own driveways and putting down salt and such...and our assesment goes mostly towards paying the illegals who mow our lawn

yeah...really want to get out of this stupidly run place!

so what exactly do maintenance people do????

Sounds like a real lovely place to live... Not. Looks like my landlord was out here and got where I parked salted. So it wasn't very icy when I got home thank goodness.

I bet the illegals get paid top dollar too. Which is ridiculous...

I don't mind the NRA near as much as the illegal's. My state is thinking about making it legal for them to get a driver's licenses... I mean, seriously? They don't pay taxes, they don't have insurance, basically they are free loading. Now you want to make it legal for them to drive? So that when they hit me my insurance has to cover it my car because they can't afford it? Great move...

...AND california is thinking about letting them go to college here FOR FREE...yeah, most of us had to pay (beg, borrow--steal) to go to college, but heck if you are here illegally we will PAY YOUR WAY for college /mega facepalm
what about shipping them home???? I mean, they come across our border and get treated here better than people who are BORN here!! (free health care, free schooling now...). OY!!
(we wont even go into the babies who are born here to illegals...)

the nra gets me on that they OWN congress basically...and I really see no need to have assault type weapons (machine guns)...when you are what? defending your home ...from what? an army????? that is just over kill (hahahaha) for the one or two burglars who might happened into your home. A pistol or such I understand, rifle, yes I get that too...but uzzie?????

I also see that states are working on getting the laws stricter since they realize that congress isnt going to do anything (cant let our precious backers down...who cares about their constituents!--the peeps that voted for them).

Hope the winter weather starts moving out soon, been too cold, and costs more to heat this place than to keep it cool. Also, not fun shoveling snow out of a 300 ft long driveway.

As someone who does shoot guns, and does enjoy shooting the AR's I feel I must address this. The Assault Rifle, AR-15, that everyone is talking about banning is a semi-automatic. You have to pull the trigger each time you want to fire a bullet. They are not full automatics. Some states allow you to own a fully automatic gun but you have to have a special licenses to do so. The AR are essentially the exact same as an old M1 Grand. The difference is in the look of the guns. The AR's look like the army version (M16, M4) while the Grands, well why would the grands be dangerous? They are so old! The operate in the same manner. Pull the trigger once, shoot one bullet, pull again, shoot another. There is no hold-and-spray. Those are illegal unless you have a special licenses and even then, only in certain states.

Sorry, felt I had to address it as many people are generally confused thanks to the mass media. Who screws up all the stories. >.>
